WHEAT! And Now, For the Rest of the Story...


The government pushes whole grain on us touting the importance of whole grains for a healthy body, heart health, controlling diabetes, and weight loss.  They now put it in EVERYTHING processed! From wheat products all the way to ravioli and other food products our kids are eating they are dumping it into everything we eat.  They say it is to make us healthier.  They say it is for our heart health.  They say it is to lose weight. They are LYING TO US.  It is so WRONG! There is NOTHING healthy in the wheat today or the wheat products. 
The genetically engineered wheat of today is KILLING us. (Hyman, 2012)   
We all know that Gluten-free is HOT these days; we can find these products in grocery stores, on restaurant menus, and just about everywhere now.  (Hyman, 2012)   Is this a real problem or is it just another fad/gimmick to sell products? 
Actually very few people are truly gluten allergic.  A very simple blood test given by your doctor at your request will show whether or not you have allergies to gluten.  If you suspect you may be allergic, I recommend you request your doctor to test you to be certain.
Health-wise gluten is a real problem, but the problem is not just gluten.  There are actually three major hidden reason that wheat products, not just gluten (along with sugar in all its forms) is a major contributor to OBESITY, DIABETES, HEART DISEASE, CANCER, DEMENTIA, DEPRESSION, and so many other illnesses we see today.  (Hyman, 2012)   Yes, you read it correctly…WHEAT and wheat products are KILLING us one bite at a time.
How can this be you might be asking?!!! Like myself, you follow your doctor’s guidelines to increase whole grains, reduce fat, and exercise.  Did you know that 2 slices of whole wheat bread raise your blood sugar level more than sugar?!!!!! Wheat and wheat products are hidden in everything from soups to vodka to lipstick to envelope adhesive.  Not only is the wheat bad for us, they also add a chemical that makes us crave more and more of it much like a cigarette for a smoker or alcohol for an alcoholic. The wheat of today is known as Franken Wheat by doctors and people who have wised up to the disease pitfall caused by it. (Hyman, 2012)   
We are surrounded by walls of wheat and corn disguised in hundreds of thousands of food-like products in today’s supermarkets. (Hyman, 2012)   They constantly change the names of the ingredients to try to keep us in the dark.  Some companies simply do not list the ingredients they think we will disapprove of.
Remember, this is not the wheat your great-grandmother used to bake her bread.  Wheat was healthy 60+ years ago before the government changed it. It is Franken Wheat – scientifically engineered in the last 50 years making us fatter and fatter each year.(Hyman, 2012)   
It is crucial that we get off the WHEAT now!
