Follow ME on my weight loss journey!
My husband Mark and I began a quest in November 2012 to lose weight, get in shape, and change our eating habits. We decided to track our journey with the help of My Fitness Pal which is a wonderful free tool to track your weight loss, exercise, get weight loss buddies, and even blog about your journey. My username is travelgal1984. I love getting new weight loss buddies!
We have found some amazing food documentaries that have really changed the way we look at food and what we do to our bodies and that of our children's bodies. These can be found on Netflix.com. My favorite is "Hungry for Change"! It is also found on Amazon.com but it is not an Amazon Prime video. :(
Let me start by telling you a little about myself.... I am 5'9" and weighed 229 lbs in November 2012. Sadly, I have dieted on and off my whole adult life. I have learned that what we have been taught as to what is healthy and not healthy has been a lie. Ah, but, that is for another posting....
